New best at the track - Mustang Evolution

New best at the track

Went to opening day at the track today turned a 13 flat consistently with a 1.7 60ft I know my car can break 12's

Gt40x heads,e 303 cam, Ford racing 1.6 roller rockers, cobra upper and lower intake, ram air intake, c&l bigger maf, 30lb injectors, Bbk fuel Pressure regulator, double roller timing chain,Bbk shorty headers & h-pipe,flowmasters cat back,chipped,t-5 swap king cobra clutch, 4.10 gears.

YUP! Being that close, it's just a matter of time and practice.


Try lightening the car, remove everything you don't need when you test run it.

Good advise! Also try tweaking air pressure in the tires, maybe tweaking the ignition timing too. I know you have a lot of mods, I assume you have an SCT chip or similar? If not I'd say that would put you over the hump. Not sure about your suspension but an aluminum DS, and upper and lower control arms would also help if you don't already have! I agree with Trojan though with some practice and small tweaks you'll be in the 12's soon! and that's awesome!

Well I hit the track up last night got my car to 12.9 at 106.80
