Reving up

Ok I'm use to the fact that when my 90gt is cold and I first start it it idles around 2000 for a Lil bit and then drops down to normAl but while I driving and push the clutch it will start to climb and not stop till I hit the gas a sec then it drops then climbs again. What could cause this. Maf TB what idk. And as of now all is still stock didn't install anything yet but a underdrive pulley.

Re: Reving up

Check your TPS and make sure your linkage or cable are not sticking or binding.

I have the same problem on my 99 v6 5speed. The revving comes and goes. I was also told it could be that throttle position sensor. I think it's a few hundred bucks, at least from my mechanic. Small part and easy to replace. Good luck

Oh boy maybe I'll have to have a little chat with my mechanic or maybe I was just confusing it with another part. But thanks for the link!
