Duralast gold a no go

Bought a duralast gold on the 18th seeing how all the reviews were good. Driving to work tonight I stopped at a gas station and went out to start my car and would not start. It tried to crank but then did nothing. When I say nothing I mean no lights, gauges, or anything electrical. Long story short, put old battery back in and fired right up. Took it back to autozone and the guy tested it and said it was good. We start going back and forth and he tells me I have an electrical problem because their machine is accurate. I told him I'll go get my car and we can hook her back up. He calls district and finally refunds my $. I'm gonna buy an interstate later this week.

He may be right.the reason your old battery started it cause it wasn't in the car being drained.
This is just a scenario, hopefully he wa s wrong!

Don't see how it could go from starting my car, driving while being charged for 15 mins, and then COMPLETELY dead while in the gas station for 2 mins.

I'm gonna go get an interstate. I was gonna get an optima but my cables are too short seeing how an optima is about an inch taller.

Re: Duralast gold a no go

Go with Motorcraft they are top of the line batteries, and Ford backs them 100%!

You could convert to side post terminals as you were talking about yesterday that's what I've considered for mine
