Replace a Convertible to a hard top?,

I have a 1994 GT Mustang 5.0 V8 Convertible the top is ripped and cut because of previous theft. Is it possible to make the convertible a hard top? Using the top from another mustang in the junk yard? What yr and model would fit my mustang?,.

94-98 used pretty much the same body, but converting yours to a hardtop would be very difficult to say the least.
The convertibles are made completely different in the area the top stows in.
You'd likely have to replace both rear quarters and all of the supporting braces, rear window deck area, etc., etc..
It would be easier to find a car that needs your engine and running gear and swap those out.

One of my buddies had this on his 95 5.0 he even had a sweet pulley system on his garage ceiling so on person could take it on and off the car! And it freed up some garage space for tools! It was awesome b/c he could still use the rag top when weather happened and in Colorado springs that could be anytime!

Just lay some fiberglass and resin over the top when it gets older and make your own.

Check on eBay the 94' came with a factory removable hardtop I'm sure it was optional though. Check out eBay.

I bet if you scoured eBay you could find one. After all you can find the virgin Mary in a cheese sandwich on eBay.
