Steering wheel

Does anyone know of a steering wheel and installation kit that's let's you keep your cruise controls in a 90 GT hatch. Yes I do have airbag but don't care if stays or goes. I just don't see spending $300 on a factory replacement

You could possibly re-route all the cruise switches from the old steering wheel to somewhere on/around your dash? That obviously doesnt fix the initial problem of not having the switches on the steering wheel, but at least that way you could still use cruise

Your best bet would probably be using another Ford steering wheel from a salvage yard, maybe off of an older car if you want to get rid of the air bag?

It's not that I want to get rid of the airbag it's my steering wheel is so messed up that I would like to change it but stock replacement is so expensive but I kinda like the cruise control. I was just wondering if somebody like grant might have a adapter kit for there steering wheels that would let you keep the cruise control

Here's a couple of options:

Retaining CC on Aftermarket Steering Wheels - Bronco mod, but it should work for a Mustang too.

Used 1990-93 Ford Mustang Steering Wheel leather with Cruise Control - eBay-$49 at stangparts 100% rating.

P.S. Read up on how to work with that air bag so it doesn't go off in your face.

You could always get lucky and find an OEM Saleen Momo wheel, it has the cruise control on it. I found a guy on Craigslist that had one BNIB that didn't know what he had... $75 lol score!

There was someone who made a replica bracket that fit between the adapter and some aftermarket wheels.
