Why would you want to?
The AOD and AODE are basically the C-4 with overdrive added.
I'd just build the AODE and keep the overdrive or your gas mileage will suffer significantly.

You can get the Baumannator control to electronically alter your shift points and firmness without tearing into the transmission, but a performance rebuild should be done first.

If possible find someone knowledgeable about the AODE.
There are several areas that need to be improved for performance use.
Read through this site Ford - AODE to get an idea of what should be done.

The C-4 would be good for a drag race only car, but I wouldn't run one on the street anymore with gas prices being what they are.

I don't know for sure.
Check the numbers on the tag.
You can Google search them to find out.

It would be good if you did have one.
They are supposed to be a bit stronger and better than the AODE.

I don't know if the numbers cast into the case will tell you, but the numbers stamped into the tag should.

Always nice to find out you have more than you thought you had.
