79-95 Ford Mustang Clutch Cable Quadrant

I think I need a new clutch cable and quadrant but wats the best one to get

Haven't seen a bad review on any of them, I have a steeda quadrant and it's fine.

Get your cable from Maximum Motorsports.They have the exact OEM duplicate of the Ford factory cable which no one else does.
Other aftermarket cables are not as well made and tend to stretch and wear out much sooner.


There is a picture at the bottom of the page in the link I entered above.
You can see the difference for yourself.

Will the factory cable work with an aftermarket quadrant? Steeda to be exact..

It should work just fine.
I would go ahead and add a firewall adjuster too while I was at it.

I did that when I installed my quadrant, reason I asked was when I need a new cable if I had to get a particular one or factory... Btw I did new clutches, tob,quadrant, cable, and firewall adjuster an all went on right the first time... That was my first time doing clutches...
