Toggle switch

I have no clue what this toggle switch is next to the driver seat. I don't know where the wires go nor what the switch does. Does anybody know what a common use for toggle switcheslike this are?

Re: Toggle switch

Could be almost anything from lights, to arming a nitrous system.

Probably used to ignite the pile on the arc reactor though.

I used to have one like that for my amp so I could shut it off without having to use the stereo to do it.

I bet it's for an electric fan. Some people set them up direct instead of on a sending unit.

You've got to let us know what it is when you figure it out. It's driving me crazy already, wondering what that switch is.

Re: Toggle switch

Seriously, instead of taking a chance and just flipping the switch, why don't you just trace the wires out to see where they go?

May save you some burned up wiring if they are disconnected and touching something they shouldn't.

I tried tracing them today bc I had the seats and carpet ripped out to find a short in thbe tail lights [didn't find it yet] and I tried to see but I couldn't see where they went.

Who did you get the car from? I'm assuming it is not possible to find out who the prior owner was, but I had to ask.
