Transmission help!!!

So I had a tranny problem which I thought out was something small.. Came out to be my tranny is done. I have an 89 fox.. What tranny and from where do you guys recommend it...thanks!!

Depends what you want.. The old T5's are much more user friendly. I had a 3550 and it felt really mechanical, anti-social if you will. I'm sure the Tremec's of today are better. They make the T5, the TKO500, and TKO600.. If you want something serious contact G-Force in PA, they make very strong upgrades for T5's.

Also have to know how much torque is your car putting out? Are you building up the motor ?

Am just building it all motor no sc or turbo.. All motor..

When your check out new transmission just make sure the one you get can support the torque and extra horse your adding,

Oh ok..thanks..yeah cuz they were trying to sell me one for $1500 performance but I don't have that much to buy it..but I'll see..thanks for the info..

Yes, they have kits to put a t56 in. They are very pricey.
