starter stuck wont turn off!!!!

I have replaced starter, starter solenoid, ignition module and checked connections. It still engages even when i unbolted the solenoid and unplugged the little red and blue wire. Maybe i put the wires on wrong or maybe the solenoid itself is now bad? It did stop when i tapped the solenoid. Any help would be great thank you

Sweet make sure you don't put the bolts on too tight because that also causes a solenoid to burn out quicker..just make sure they're snug

Re: starter stuck wont turn off!!!!

That happens when the contacts in the solenoids burn and stick together or the coil shorts out somehow and engages the contacts. The only thing you can do and should do quickly to prevent any burned up wires is to disconnect the battery.

Replace the solenoid and make sure your starter is not dragging, causing excessive amperage draw through the solenoid.
