I'm a novice at this but just want a little hobby to tinker around with. I have 92 Lx convertible suspension is lowered. Handles good but can't go through a dip or bump without feeling it. So my question would be what's a good performance suspension with a comfy ride? Any help is is appreciated . Thank you

Re: Suspension

comfy and performance usually dont go hand in hand when it comes to mustang suspensions. You could go with a slightly softer progressive spring (say 500 rate max) and it would be ok.

replacing all the worn out rubber bushings will help (go back with oem) with the ride quality. Most also assume the springs are the cause while it can also be the shocks/struts that are worn out causing harshness (not collapsing as they should or froze up etc)

you should be able to find a nice set of springs for 150-250 and shocks/struts for ... well just depends on the brand but for a good price.

Thank you so much !!! Can't thank you enough. I'd rather go more performance then comfy. Anything is better then it is now. I really appreciate the help.
