Make sure you are getting fuel.
Check pump, pressure and fuel filter.

Epc is electronic pressure control. Do believe it's for your transmission.

Yes it does. Sends a signal to the ecu about the pressure inside the transmission.

Not sure, just try to match up the location as shown in the diagram above.

It will fit, but I'm not sure of the effect, if any, it might have on your ECU.

If you cleaned out the cooler then it should not matter.
If you did not and you hook it up backwards there is a chance you might backwash some debris into your transmission.
I would advise cleaning the cooler in any transmission rebuild or replacement.

I'd recommend a standalone tranny cooler. Keeps the fluid temperature down alot better than the cooler in the radiator.

Yes, but I would keep the factory cooler in the radiator as it is way more efficient at removing heat due the the liquid heat transfer that occurs. I add my air to liquid coolers after the radiator cooler to further cool the transmission fluid after the radiator cooler has removed the bulk of the heat.

+1 Too much fluid or a clogged filter can do that.
Also if it got very hot it may be boiling the fluid, which is not a good thing.

Re: mustang wont run long

aod tranny will not shift while driving stuck in drive and when started automactically goes into drive but when engine not running will go into P R N D. Does this have anything to do with the tv cable

I would suspect your shifter cable is stuck.

Re: mustang wont run long

Was the shifting problem there since the transmission swap, or just started?
