Transmission troubleshooting

I wondering if anyone can narrow my problem down. My shifter has had sort of a swirling chatter noise while at idle, low speeds in 1st 2ndand 3rd gear. Higher speeds it seems to go away and when I press in clutch the noise disappears. I'm gonna take it apart when I have time but was thinking either the bearing retainer/ throw out bearing or bearings behind the retainer. I replaced the clutch throw out bearing. Clutch fork and pilot bearing a year ago. Anyone have a more defininate answer for my problem? I know there's some smart guys out there. Thanks all

Re: Transmission troubleshooting

Throw out bearing or input shaft bearing most likely.

Yeah, that gets pretty irritating.
I took my dash apart and tightened, modified and replaced fasteners until it quit squeaking.

After much cussin' and discussin' it did.
I fabbed up some larger washers in places and insulated some washers/fasteners with some silicone which I let dry before assembling.
