electrical question

I know these pictures are really bad but does anybody know what these wires under the driver seat lead to? And possibly what they're for. They come from behind the kicker pannel and down and turn under the seat and back up through somewhere near the radio

yes but someone hooked a toggle switch up to the yellow wire in it, my step dad said it could be for the reverse light, something about the tranny in it might not turn the lights on or something

Is the wire tan and light green.cause I just wired up my factory fuel pump relay to work with my carb setup and I had to modify a tan light green wire under the seat.

---------- Post added at 05:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:26 PM ----------

Some cars had wires under the seat that went to factory power seats also.

Re: electrical question

the brown wire comes off the fuel pump along the passenger door side under the carpet then twists with 2 reds and goes into some black thing on the frame the one red goes to that fuse and the other goes to the solenoid

lol na their two separate things think i just asked that question under this post bc theyre both electrical and i didnt think it was necessary to post a new thread lol but i think the killswitch is for my reverse lights bc my step dad said something about some trannys dont turn on the reverse lights so they might have put that in to turn em on and off

Well about the post earlier I thought u had auto so its differ

---------- Post added at 07:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:30 PM ----------

Manual u would have a clutch pos. Sensor and a neutral safety switch....

---------- Post added at 07:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:39 PM ----------

Do we know wat fuse 11 is for ...wen u say twisted means wires r ran together for a total of 2red wires and 1 brwn or does it go from 1 brwn splits to 2 reds ....

---------- Post added at 08:06 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:59 PM ----------

If splits....so one red goes to fuse 11 and the other goes to starter sol. To the B+ or the smaller ign wire

Sure you can. It's a hand up, not a hand out.
What do you need?

The tail lights are on a different wire from the brake lights.
Maybe it has been broken or cut?
Is the tail light ground intact?

i checked most of the wires in the wire harness and they were good and the grounds are good the previous owner got a used harness out of another 93 mustang in a junk yard, and the 2 harnesses arent the same like the bulbs arent the same so im thinking about just taking out the whole harness and putting the other one in bc a&a gave me the stock bulbs for a 93 and they match the other harness

That would be best and it would make future troubleshooting a lot easier if it is needed.
