Air intake..

I have 89 gt..how can I delete the piece that goes in the middle of the cold air intake...the sensor I believe thanks.

Need a picture or more information?
If you are talking about the MAF sensor or the IAT sensor, you cannot delete them.
The computer depends on them for your air/fuel mixture.

That part right in the middle of the intake..I seen couple mustangs without it but never asked how to delete it..

The cars without it are speed density cars, it is your mass air meter. You do not want to delete that as the computer uses it for the air/ fuel like trojan said.

If you're looking for a bigger one, the housings in the sn95 cars have a bigger opening than the foxes. You would just have to use your sensor in the new housing.

Sn-95 refers to the '94 and '95 gts. They still had the 5.0, but Ford changed a few things for those specific years. Such as a bigger Maf, new body styling, etc.
