Exhaust & chip!!

I have an 89 5.0 gt..regarding exhaust, I got my long tube headers.I will put them on this weekend, I have an x pipe.should I put it with the Lt headers or put divorce pipes? I have it straight pipe so I don't mind the loudness but I have flowmasters 40 serious.should I throw those in too or just stay straight pipe.am trying to get the best power & torque from the exhaust system..and am planning on taking the exhaust on the side so I need opinions on that. Regarding the chip.they told me I need to chip my car in order for my computer to recognize the modifications I done to the car and I can get the power am suppose to..And from what store.. Help please thanks I'll appreciated!!

You will produce more hp and tq with the x pipe installed. Mufflers will bring your numbers down some but not much at all.

The chip is not necessary but it will help you get more out of your mods, I don't think I would bother with it unless you have more mods done to the car.
