Transmission fluid help 95' gt manual

I look to see what transmission fluid I need to use. I hear automation and can be synthetic 80 to 90 weight. Also if I can use automatic tranny fluid can I use auto tranny fluid treatment?

I'd go by what the book says or look up the numbers on your transmission tag to find out what is recommended.
Some use automatic transmission fluid and others use gear oil (75-90 wt.)
You never want to mix or confuse the two as it would result in the destruction of your transmission.

For manual transmissions that use the automatic trans fluid I have read that the best fluid to use is the GM Synchromesh fluid, but check that out for yourself before deciding to use it.

Hmmm, I've read that gm synchromesh was actually bad for the wc t5. Never could understand how it would be bad though.

It very well could be, I haven't ran across that yet, but who knows.
There is so much misinformation that at times it is hard to determine what is the truth.
I'd contact the manufacturer direct and find out were it me.
