6.14:1 gears?

anyone have 6.14 gears? or know anyone with em? if so how are they? i never shopped around for gears and i never heard much discussion with anything above 4.10s, i never saw 6.14s till now, just wondering about them

That's for trucks with like 44" tires or bigger. On a fox body I'd never go over a 4.30 and that would pretty much be for a race car. I've had 4.56s before.

Had a set in a 1 1/2 ton pulling truck rearend once.
They'd be next to useless in a street car unless you had a 9000-10,000 + RPM engine.
You'd probably be able to take off in 4th gear and be wound out at 50 mph in 5th, but you'd be able to pull a small building.

+1 I've had gears close to that but with 38.5 " tires. If you plan on driving highway a lot 3.73s are good.4.10 may kill some mpg but it will take off hard.

i was looking into 4.10s i just never saw 6.14s b4 i should have kinda figured for a truck
