IMO? No.
They are too much trouble to fit and they build too much heat.

In the end it's really up to you, we can only voice opinions and experiences. I've never had a SC so I can't really say but would live to have one

Go ahead if you want. It's your choice and since it was free, why not.

I was just expressing my personal view and what I have learned from other's experiences.

If youre wanting to put it on look up the bbk m90. The kits aren't made anymore but it should give at least one idea for mounting. I personally wouldnt put one on, they're pretty much maxed out on a 5.0.

The 5.0 is the largest motor recommended for the m90. That said it becomes less efficient at higher rpms and won't be capable of producing much boost on it.

Max boost is 10 psi on a 3.6 so it's even less on a 5.0. 5-6 psi if you're lucky which is a lot of work for a minimal gain.

Re: M90 eaton supercharger

ive not seen any M112's on the 5.0~ but it will be like the 3.8L v6, it will sit up higher due to the valley isnt as open since it has pushrods

They will fit with a 3 or 4 inch cowl hood, those guys should of knew that. They probably choose to stay with factory just so the world could see their supercharger lol

They have the guy making a kit for an m112 on the pushrod 5.0. You're right though, they do sit up high but that can be fixed by putting the explorer EDIS on an shortening the lower intake.

He made one that's offset too, haven't seen pics or video of it installed yet. It fits under the factory hood so no cutting or cowl hood required.
