89 saleen

Am geting a bad vibration between 4 and 5 thousand rpm. Have checked everything i can thnk of pilot bearing throughout ect. I even does it in neutral. Any ideas.

Did you check your motor mounts?
You'll get more answers if you post this in the right section. Go to the 1979-1995 GT section or the specialty cars section for Saleens, etc.

Motor mounts or harmonic balancer would be the first things to look at...

Then I would seriously look at the balancer... is it original? If replaced, are you
sure it is the correct one for the motor?

Its the original one havent replaced. I have never heard of one going bad Thanks so much im am so frustrated at this point i have pulled tranny 3 times. Everything is new as far as drivetrain goes

Its completely smooth other than between 4 and 5. Its weird

No prob, just wanted you to have the most exposure for answers.
Have you watched it at 4500? Maybe a pulley is off balance and causing serious vibration at high rpm.
