What happens if I put the water pump on with out this bolt

I tried an easy out with no luck...

It will probably leak. Isn't that near one of the block passages?


Is there enough bolt left to weld a nut onto?

If not he may have to pull the timing cover.soak the bolt In a good penetrating oil, and pray.I prefer aerokroil.

Good idea.
A reverse direction drill bit is handy for drilling out broken bolts too.
Since you run the drill in reverse, if the bit catches it will sometimes spin the bolt out for you.

You have to get it online.I have a guy that I work on his car.he pays me in aerokroil and mechanics glove cause he works at a mill.lol.but this stuff is amazing!!!!!!

Same thing happen to me but five of them broke when changing water pump. I pulled timing cover soaked them with penitrating fluid and was able to get them out it was a 3 day nightmare but it worked
