86 5 speed vibrates when giving gas at idle

Thought my motor mounts were trashed but they look good. Popped my hood and gave it throttle and the engine didn't rock side to side too bad at all. I don't know where the vibrations are coming from. Could a bad trans mount cause this? I have new wires and new plugs. thanks again

I failed to mention the vibration happens even parked. When I rev it up is when I notice vibration the most and goes away when idling. Almost as if I have a misfire possibly? New wires, plugs, fuel filter, air filter, new oil, and all sensors new. Trans mount?

+1 and it may be a slight misfire, check your plug wires, cap and rotor.

Found out what might be the problem with my 86. I took it to the shop to run a fuel pressure test and it came back with low pressure. You would think its a bad fuel pump right? Well, I decided to change the pump myself and discovered that one of the fuel lines were kinked

Inspected the harmonic balancer and found that there is rubber behind it that is sticking out. Think this is my answer to the vibration issue I am having?

Yes, but even if it isn't the answer, replace that balancer. The rubber isn't supposed to be sticking out and when it does, vibration can result. Another thing that can result(rarely does, thank goodness) is an "escape" so to speak. Your balancer can come apart... Ya don't want that to happen.

Defiantly don't want that to happen. I have the car parked and I won't drive it till I know I've fixed the balancer. Thanks for the tips.

Inspect the balancer closely upon removal.
I had one crack the snout and a piece broke off and ended up in the oil pan.
