Plugs for gt40x heads

Okay so I was wondering which is the best plug to run in my car

2004 mach 1(totaled=() 93 mustang lx white
Gt40x heads,e 303 cam, Ford racing 1.6 roller rockers, cobra upper and lower intake, ram air intake, c&l bigger maf, 30lb injectors, Bbk fuel Pressure regulator, double roller timing chain,Bbk shorty headers & h-pipe,flowmasters cat back,chipped,t-5 swap king cobra clutch, 4.10 gears.

Expensive but e3 plugs are really nice and pretty reliable. Running them in my gt40 heads and have had not one issue

ive also heard alot of good things about the e3 plugs,planning on getting a set for myself

+1 for the Autolites.
They are relatively inexpensive and they work just fine.
Perform a few plug readings and adjust to a colder or hotter plug as needed.
For a bit of a performance boost, check out the plug modifications in the Useful Info thread.


bad_little_pwny, Buy the E3's if that's what you think you want, but I'm betting you won't see any real improvements over the lot less expensive Autolite plugs.

and your probably right..i know i have autolites in my car now and they run very good,ive just heard alot of good on the e3's but your right,for the price of them,and not really too much gain in performance,the auto lites are a better choice

Grab another set and try the mods in the Useful Info thread, post #5.
Exposing the spark flame kernel will make a performance difference as it better ignites the mixture and results in a more complete burn.
