Re: My ride

$500? Okay then... I'd buy it for that in stock condition. It's been awhile since I've seen what looks to be a nearly 100% factory stock Fox. I'd waste money like crazy with that car! Congratulations.

Re: My ride

Sounds really good and you are making fantastic progress with it.

If you didn't get the deal of the century buying it for that price I don't know who did.

Ya looks like a score for 500. Granted a lot has been labor, but I've put about 4k into mine so far. Replaced a ton. Keep telling myself I8'm almost done with mechanical. Now seat just broke and clutch prob went or leaking fluid and need to refill then have looked at. Other than that, pretty sure gonna need breaks soon, prob should check shocks. Then that should be mechanicals lol. I do have a dent in my oil pan right at drain bolt. Doesn't leak though and shop is able to get in and out so I don't mess with it. Then it will be to cosmetics. Fix seat obviously, I'm gonna take off side trim and fill in/smooth groove. Going to paint a super dark, like blackberry purple and" paint center of hood black. Now on dream side...white leather, yellow calipers, and mark viii tailights.

I hear that.my 500$ ride is now over 8k in.that's with no labor, bargain shopping and custom fabbing.it gets expensive.my big purchases usually come around tax time.

there is no doubt that that is the cleanest 500$ starting platform I've seen anyone score.and unmolested.

Ya I just fed my car almost 1000 with taxes, only for the seat to breaks a week later, I just stucka pillow behind back, then the trans issue. Mine was listed at 1800. I traded a scooter and got cash back for it lol.

well, i have had them in about a year and a half.but unfortunatley i dont have a whole lot of seat time.maybe only like 5 hours.but they do look bada$$.i will say that the slider doesnt seem to latch into place properly when your sitting on it.so you actually have to get out for it to lock in place.maybe i didnt put the spring on right idk.but i dont plan on anyone else driving my car so thats not a biggie.then also they are really wide so they have to be just right in there if you make your own adapter brackets as i did.but they do sell adapter kits for them to fit for a decent price.
