Alternator

After battery/charging system light coming on, and dying mid-drive, I got to Autozone and had my alternator tested..
Failed with ~11.1 volts...

What do you guys recommend as a replacement/upgrade?
Any experience with PA Performance Alternators?

PA Performance makes good alternators.

Good to know.

My mom is close to someone who owns an auto electric (starters, alternators, etc) shop, but he's mostly retired.. he apparently "got wrapped up in those race cars and doesn't like to work anymore". Sounds like a good guy
She's going to talk to him, see if he would be interested in showing/teaching me how to rebuild the one I have.

Thanks for the response; will let you know how it goes.

They are not hard to rebuild as long as the stator and rotor are intact and in good shape.
Look up what you have and you can find a diagram and instructions on Google.
