Help need - Mustang Evolution

Help need

I have a 94 mustang gt auto...and I'm having trouble trying to find out why my car jerk and hesitate on kind of a hard acceleration...I have got the distributor cap set, plugs and wires change, distributor cap change and rotor button change, tps sensor change and fuel filter and it still does it I had the fuel pressure check and the guy said it wasn't raising to 45 psi and stoping at like 30 and said the fuel pump might be weak and he tried to hook the computer up to my car and said he couldn't read it and that the computer might be bad....so plz help if you might know anything thanks

check for kinked fuel lines and replace filter first. and it would be a good idea to check the pip in the distributor. there is a good article in the sticky thread about bucking and irratic idle to.

Ok thanks and I changed the filter too and still did it but some say it may be the trans which I don't think so.....

its hard to tell from my side of the web but doesnt sound like trans to me.

what is the fuel pressure when the key is turned forward to prime?you should get around 35 psi then.i ask this because the relay gets its signal from the ecm only after the car is started.[COLOR="Silver"]

Check your fuel pressure with the engine idling.Remove and plug the vacuum line.
It should read around 38-40 psi at idle.
If that checks out ok, then hook up the vacuum line again and rev it a bit and see how far it falls off.


Your lockup torque converter could be on the verge of failing.
Maybe have a transmission shop scan it for issues.
