94 mustang convertable top

So I was reading a thread about replacing top, and it is reccomended to be left to pros, anyone who bought dvds or just knows how to remove for repairs and replace any advice would be greatly appriciated, it seems my frame is bending or warping, is this due to plastic retainer tab missing off hyd ram?

I did my 88 myself.I did it myself cause I couldn't afford for the pros to do it.I do have one wrinkle in the corner that most people don't even notice.ala in all I am happy with the installation.now my dad helped me and he is very good in that kind of field.he used to build furniture and sees and all that junk.

but anyways it is doable by the average Joe if :
You have lots of patience
Pay close attention to what your doing
Take your time
Watch the DVD at least twice before starting.
I also recommend using an air stapler because it takes close to 500 staples.I bought one from menards for 30$ that came with the staples.
The main thing that is important is setting the rear bow to the proper height.

Now if you can afford, I would let the pros do it.but not everyone can.I would do it again if I had to.

Thanks for the tip! I know it will be an expensive repair, what were the staples for?

Oh btw it took me around 12 hours to fully replace.the pros do it in 6-8. I set up a tv in the garage after I watched it a couple times.and then used it for reference as needed.

The top is stapled down to the plastic moldings inside the bows.it gets trimmed off and covered so you can't see them but they are there.
