How much different are the motors in the 2 different years?

The longblocks are identical.

The computer and accessories are different, but most are interchangable.

Well his is bored out to a 306 I think and it is fully modded I believe, super charger intake custom headers and I'm sure a lot more, he is pushing 400 to the wheeles I got to drive it lastnight make my. Car feel like I'm driving grandmas car, all I have is 410s ud pullys and flomasters

If you can afford it, build your block with forged internals and get some type of Forced Induction (sc, tc, turbo). Foxes are a bit lighter than our sn95's as well, just something to keep in mind.

93s didnt have forged pistons like the earlier motors. Pretty much same motor

And I also have a convertable which is also a little heavier as well
