Torque box reinforcement

Was looking around on the Internet and I read alot about reinforcing your torque. I would like to do this to mine but I have a little problem. I already have sub frame connectors welded in. Can I still get a reinforcement kit or would I have to cut my sub frame connectors out? I would like to have piece of mind if I ever decided to get crazy power out of my car. I also seen where you can get upper or lower reinforcements. Which would be better or at least necessary? Any help would be great. Like I said I would like to have them but I don't wanna have to cut my sub frame connectors out.
What is y'all's recommendations on what I should do. I just don't wanna mess up my torque boxes. Thanks

Lowers are the most important.I didn't do my uppers but I don't see the subframe connectors interfering.I built my own t box reinforcements with a schematic I found online.I you would like I could dig that link up
