1. They'd be fine for a stock build if you ever needed them.
2. They are free.

You can fit a 12.50 wide tire on a 7 inch rim but don't expect to air down very much

Ehhh, depends on the sidewall I guess. I've always ran close to max pressure with a 12.50 on a 7 inch wide rim. I would say no lower than 20-25 in a straight line no hard cornering, run the risk of popping off the bead and spinning outta control.

Re: gt40 upper amd lower and maf upgrade!

Don't put them on a to narrow rim. It is dangerous and it pulls the tread up at the edges and wears out the center of the tire.
This also reduces your contact patch and negates any benefits of the wider tire.

Major dilemma think my clutch went out or my cable broke. My pedal got real light real fast weren't straight to the floor and won't go into gear at all.

When I try to put it into reverse it just grinds.

Any suggestions?

PS I was just driving normal cruising home with my kids.

+1 Cable or less likely the pressure plate failed.

If you still have the factory quadrant, now would be the time to replace it with an aftermarket one and an external adjuster. For a cable I only use the factory type supplied by Maximum Motorsports, you can read why on their website.

As far as I know its all still factory. When I bought i.was told it had a new clutch. And I have never had a problem with it until tonight. Iturned tbe corner from a dead stop I was in first went to shift pedal went to the floor and nothing.

I limped it home and shut it off goes through all the gears fine shut off and starts if I put the pedal to the floor, but if its in gear it just jumps forward and stalls. When its started it will just not go into gear at all.

You sure it didn't slide out of the fork underneath? If u have the stock quad try and adjust the slack and see if that changes anything

Also thinkin maybe the clutch is stuck to the flywheel as in the clutch material disintegrated altho you may have heard a pop or somethin if that happened.

the factory quadrant is a white plastic one. like 90 said. check where the cable attaches to the fork. then check the quadrant. they have been know to fail to. if its still attached to the fork, see if you can pull on the cable. that will tell you if its broke.

Wow dude, that was something. Those younger brothers can be right handy at times, no?
I'm glad you made it through that in relatively good shape.
P.S. That's worse than my injuries in my book. At least I wasn't in danger of dying from mine like you were.

You joke, but there are days that I could probably benefit from one of those.
Every time my wife drags me off the Wally World or some other big Mall I threaten to get into one of their "scooter carts" at which time I receive "The Look" so I never do.

P.S. At almost 53 I'm close to twice your age and believe me pain hurts worse as you age or your ability to endure it drops.

Indeed my wife tells me ask the time I need a new line of work because i'm only making things worse. But bills have to be paid and the kids need food in their belly. SsI keeps denying me so u have no choice but to work. Pounding hammers under the table cause I don't have a medical release to go back to work. got to do what I got to do ya know)

By the way I didn't mean any disrespect just trying to make light of a crappy situation for the both of us. I pray all goes well for you my friend.

I know what you mean. I spent years working after hours and weekends to provide my family and I with things we couldn't have otherwise afforded and yes you have to do whatever it takes to get by.

I know you meant no disrespect and I pray that all goes well for you too.

Maybe the clutch is still engaging when you push the pedal causing it to stall out? Might just be a clutch adjustment.

Does it do it when you take it out of gear and come to a stop with your foot off the clutch?
