Trans fluid
What kind of fluid do I need to use when changing fluid in my 1991 LX 5.0 5 speed? I know some manuals take ATF and some take gear oil.

I am not positive but the WC trannies take atf. The first thing you need to do is verify your trans. If it has ever been changed you don't know for sure what's in it.you can look at the I'D tag on the tailshaft area.it will have the numbers on there. Don't use the numbers on the case. But if you know for sure its a 91 a reputable autoparts store should be able to verify the fluid.
