Gt40 heads

Can you run gt40 heads on an 86 motor with flat top pistons and a stock cam and lifters? I don't want to have to swap pistons and on a budget

i am pretty sure. im not sure if the valves are exactly located the same as the p heads. but a guy on here did his ptv clearance check with p heads on an 86 with an e cam and it looks like he just squeeked it. search gt40p heads 86 motor
p.s. you should still check ptv clearance to be sure.
