Quad shock

Does it hurt to run without them?

No I have removed several for clearance.. But if you can get the right backspaced rim if your trying for a bigger tire combo that's always best.. What is your reason to remove?

Re: Quad shock

they just help wheel hop issues so they can be removed, some flip them to gain a bit more room for tires

Just ordered bigger tires from (mccormack racing)26/12/15. They told me would fit good but had to remove. They have taken off alot of them. ...... Just like checking with you all to double check, respect you guys input .. Tires are Mickey Thompson S/R

Try flipping and see if you clear... If not you can remove them and be fine.. Except you might have a lil wheel hop during burnouts as stated ^

Throw some good lower arms on there and it will fix any newly found hop.

Now I have to go home and look at my lowers... Idk if mine are stock... I have the Saleen Racecraft suspension with quad shock and I'm running 26x11.50x15 on a 5.5" back spaced rim and have no rubbing issues

Re: Quad shock

the only issue with flipping is the dirt can get in them and seize them up much easier. As said most just take em off.
