347 twin turbo

I was wanting some more horsepower out of my 347. I have rpm air gap, 200cc heads, xe174 cam. I was thinking of twin turbo but someone told me I would blow the crank out of the bottom. So could I use just a turbo or something like that. Anyone have any ideas

It all depends on what block and bottom end you have. Twins would be to much and or unnecessary for a stock block.

Yea the max you can get out of a stock block is around 500 hp anything more than that you will blow out the bottom end even if it's built

Yes with a girdle system possibly. Or a boss 302 block.

You should look at the on3 performance turbo kits affordable and can easily split your block.. Lol.. But yes look into a aftermarket block to build... The 302 Mexican blocks have very strong journals and are a cheap route but getting hard to find.. But build it right so it last.. Get a dart or boss or DSS block if you want twins... And a dam good facility to tune it..
