But if i buy an old foxbody i would have to spend a decent about of money to get one that's in really good shape already. I just want to know what you guys think? Should i trade up or just spend the money on my 98?
I like the looks, ride and handling of the 94-98 Mustangs, but the actual performance and ease of modding leaves a lot to be desired.
My personal preference between the 86-93 vs the 94-98 will always be for the 86-93 cars.
Notice, I left out the earlier models of the Fox Body Mustang, that is just because my personal preference is the EFI cars. I had enough experience earlier in life with carbureted engines and now I have no desire to go backwards.
I would probably either trade your car for an older model or swap in a 351W/TKO 500 and the 89-93 EFI system.
