Piston to valve clearance

Wondering if im gonna be ok with piston to valve clearance with gt40p heads 1.72 roller rockers and an e cam. Thanks for any help

what year do you have? the only way to be sure if you have clearance is to check it. there is an article on the proper procedure in the sticky section. there are to many variable for someone to be able to give you a definate yes.

those pistons should have reliefs in them so you maybe alright. but like i said i would check ptv clearance to be safe. i kow thats not the answer you were looking for. maybe someone on here has that setup idk. but even if someone tells you they run it still check.

Yes the heads and cam are installed just need the pedestal rocker arm conversion kit.

there is an article in the sticky to check piston to valve clearance with the heads on. see if you can do that with the stock 1.6 rocker arms if its even possible. if it is then we could do some math and find out if those rr's will work for you.

I dont have the stock rocker arms. I bought the heads without them. I had 351w heads and for some odd reason thought everything would swap right over to the gt40p heads. Fail. You live and you learn.

well then i guess its a crap shoot. maybe could score one real cheap at a junk yard just for the check? either that or see if the rr's you but are returnable incase you find out you dont have clearance?
