Black 93 Cobra rims

I'm looking for some black 93 Cobra turbine rims for my 92 LX. I saw a pair on EBay years ago and have not seen any since. I'm wondering if they were powder coated standard Cobra rims. Can anyone provide some info on where I can buy a set and the cost.

I saw those. I was looking for an all black set including the lip and center cap. Thanks for the reply though.

Trojan Horse is just getting started.
Re: Black 93 Cobra rims

Buy a set off of a Thunderchicken at a salvage yard, then have them powder coated.

Isn't the lug spacing like a 1/4" off on T-Bird wheels compared to a mustang?

Maybe, I don't know for sure, but I thought I had read about people using them before.
Plus swapping in the T-Bird rear end for the disk brakes has been done numerous times and I never saw anyone mention that being an issue? Too much Mustang info and not enough RAM memory in my head to store it all.

Hmm seems like I remember in the FRP catalog back in the early 2000's there being a separate listing for T/Bird cobra R's..

Re: Black 93 Cobra rims

Yes, they are totally different. Someone implanted false memories in my head!

93 Thunderbird - 5 x 108 (4.25")
Mustang 4-lug - 4 x 108 (4.25") Same bolt circle, 1 less stud.
Mustang 5-lug - 5 x 114.3 (4.5")

I don't know why Ford would do that. Seems like something an import company would do.
