Spindle Question?

Well I was looking at getting a new limited slip diff and just about all of them are 31 spindle. I know stock is 28. Basically I'm just wondering what I would have to do, to swap over to 31 and make it fit? Thanks for the help.

Buy the 31 spline axles. They make them in 4 lug I believe. Other than that you should be good.

Get a F150 differential with 2 extra clutches and some moser 31 spline axles. I you plan on ever running slicks or going faster than 11.99, add some 3.5 wheel studs hike you're at it.

Alright sounds good. At that point I will probably just swap over to five lug. I'm just trying to figure what winter project I want to do and how much I need to save.

What's 3.5 studs? You mean 3.5"? And what are the benifits? I am just curious

I meant 3.5". The are required when running slicks per NHRA/IHRA rules so that track officials can verify that there are at least 3 threads showing past the lug nut for safety.
