Upgrading my upgrades!!!

Ok I'm just looking for the future for a few upgrades but want to see from you guys if the Cost of the parts and retuning is worth the HP!!

The car dynoed at 306rwhp
The mods i have now and the upgrades I was thinking about are:

Edelbrock RPM intake upgrade to RPM II intake?
1.6 rocker arms to 1.7 rocker arms
24lb injectors to 30lb injectors w/MAF
BBK shorties to longtube headers

I still want to leave the car N/A.... I'm in no rush to start just things running through my head!!

ok i give my thoughts on the upgrades.

first the intake. what heads do you have? because if they are the performer it is probably made just right to match. i didnt look up the specs but i think the rpm II is more of a high rpm intake. if that is true then you may lose some low end torque. but you may be able to port them a little bit.

there is a link in the stickies on how to check ptv with the heads on. unless you already know your current clearance. but if you have it i say goe for the 1.7 or even 1.72(what i have)

then i think 39lb inhectors are to big.

and i say yes to the longtubes.

I have the edelbrock performer heads , and I have the clearance with my pistons they are all fly cut , ... Where I had the car dynoed he showed me at 5,600rpms my 24lb fuel injectors are wide opening and he said something that after 5,600rpms it needs more fuel to go up to 30lb injectors (sorry not 39lb I'm use iPhone hit the wrong number)

Ok. 30 lbers make more sense. That should be good so the 24s aren't working at max capacity.

I would check out the power range on the intake and decide from there. If you are all street I would look for something around idle or 1500ish to 5-6000 rpm range. But if you are gonna do a lot of strip I would look into 3000-7000ish rpm range.

Re: Upgrading my upgrades!!!

My .02

Edelbrock RPM intake upgrade to RPM II intake?
Yes, possible 10-20 HP over the standard Edelbrock and you may be able to replace just the upper. Not 100% sure, you'll have to check.

1.6 rocker arms to 1.7 rocker arms.
No, I don't believe the gains are worth the additional stress on the valvetrain.

24lb injectors to 39lb injectors w/MAF (P.S. Corrected that for you.)
24 to 30's, Yes, According to This Page you are close the the limit at 80% duty cycle.
More information Here.

BBK shorties to long-tube headers.
Yes, There is an additional 10-20 HP to be gained with the swap.
