Mostly paranoid put tons money into car..so hear that, and looks to be like I'm leaking or sweating I should probably say trans fluid from where driveshaft connects to trans. I started another thread other day..I noticed smelling hot trans fluid. 1st time looked under car and exhaust smoking, thought nothing of. Thinking just burning carbon or whatever off exhaust. Think it smoked before anyhow. 2nd time looked under and there was a bubble of fluid on end of driveshaft just before where connects to trans. Rubbed it..red. also saw fluid on black grommet ,i guess it is, inbetween there.
trans/driveshaft. It was black like oil. I've had hard time putting in 1st couple times and 5th doesn't seem like pushes as forward as my old. The 5th thing could also be because I'm not used to it or newbie manual driver. I think I've been babying it to much trying to break in clutch.
1. Is probably the throw out bearing. A bit of noise is normal, but loud noises usually indicate it is bad. If the transmission had the original aluminum front bearing retainer it is advisable to replace it with a steel or cast iron version to ensure proper throw out bearing operation.
2. A bit of transmission fluid/oil from the rear seal is normal. Excessive fluid/oil indicates that the seal is bad or the yoke sealing surface is damaged. The smoke may just be from fluid/oil that was flung onto the pipes by the rotating driveshaft yoke.
3. I really do not understand what you are trying to convey there, but if you are having difficulty getting it into gear that can be caused by a mis-adjusted clutch or worn synchronizers in the transmission.
