will a 2400 stall work?

Hey everyone, kinda new to this forum and just now trying the mobile version.

I found a sweet deal on a b&m tork master 2400 for my AOD. I was wondering if it'll be a good choice for my build. I've got trick flow twisted wedge cylinder heads, the 185s I believe..stage 1 trick flow cam, holley Systemax II intake manifold, 75mm trick flow throttle body, 80mm MAF with 32lb Injectors, Bbk shorty headers and 3.73 gears. Will my car idle/run good with a 2400 stall or should I get a 3000? It's mostly a street car. Thanks in advance for info!

For a street car that should be about right. You can go higher but not really necessary unless you plan on doing a lot of strip. I would get it if you found a good deal.

Oh yeah, it sounds like you have a pretty nice setup.

Thanks, its about halfway thru the rebuild so I might have more parts I'm forgetting but that was all the major stuff at least. Can't wait to drive it!

It's the best feeling in the world when you build a motor and get to take it out for the first time. Good luck

So very true.. You know what is done also and how hard you can beat on them.. But everyone I build I end up babying it but if I trade or buy one I rag on them don't ask me why ask my right foot!

It's a feeling of satisfaction or accomplishment.

Sweet! I can't wait to get my car running. Is the stall really 2400 on it?
