That would be a good combo, if you got the money I would say go with a boss block with the forged internals. If you look at dss website all their cheaper builds use a seasoned block( stock). A blower with forged internals would go on to say the stock block would be the weakest link.

Unless you have big $$$ start conservative or you will always be breaking *****... Start with a 351 do a mild build for around 2k beef up your trans and run it until the next part brake then upgrade.. But honestly if it's your first car to build don't get overwhelmed with forced induction unless your pockets can handle it.. Also always remember to add another 30% to the budget it will happen rings pop up..

Well a built aod with a 2800 ish stall would be good. You could go cheaper and build a c4 but due to not having a overdrive the gas prices alone would add up to where you should of got a aod

I love my c4.. And if you start making big hp your gonna need a built trans.. I run a 327 gear so I can drive on the highway. It runs around 2900 at 65mph.. But if you want a daily you might consider having a AOD built for you. I had one hell of an AOD built by Phoenix Transmission we put a beating on it with a sprayed 306. It out lasted the motor..

an aod and c4 are essentially the same trans except the aod has overdrive. a built one should do the trick though.
