So i was looking on craigslist and it got me thinking 5.0 HO swap. I can get a motor for $300. Heres the ad for the car:

It never ceases to amuse me seeing the amount of and utter crudeness of, misspellings that are on the web these days.

If people would just take the time to think about how it makes them look to others reading their postings, surely they would take the time to utilize one of the many free, automatic spell checkers that are available.
Anyone can make a mistake and misspell a word. Leaving it that way, well......

Their can be only one! Haha.

Yeah, I always proof read my work. Its says a lot about a person when their are so many errors in their work, or when they go out of the way to deliberately miss spell words to sound ghetto. Smdh.

Well I have a legitimate excuse.. My schooling was in Texas. A 5th grader could graduate with honors at some of these schools! Lol. Also, I try to respond to fast sometimes and being on a lil phone doesn't help me much.

Just IMO ... Why buy a 4 cyl. And swap when so many v8s are available? Please crunch the numbers and consider total swap cost and add another 400 for wiggle room and incidentials

It's possible. Maybe he wants to buy a roller and build a car.

His exact words were 5.0 ho swap. I'm all about making a stroked out monster . But I don't see the point in taking a 4 banger and paying to make it a stock 5.0.

Again you said 5.0 ho swap. , do whatever makes you happy . I would like for you to keep track of the money you spend on the car and engine and trans and PCM and wiring . And all other items required and see if you could find a v8 fox that is ready to run. I'm not downing you all I'm saying is please when you are done make a post of everything it required and what you spent.

---------- Post added at 01:39 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:36 AM ----------

And ask the seller of the car why did he choose to take a picture at night? Seems fishy , make sure you going during the day and inspect it thoroughly .

Yes i will. Right now im just looking around looking for my next project. I dont plan on making any foolish mistakes. My criteria are notch, with a 5.0. I have budgeted myself to buy just the motor and car at $1500. Then from there i will be spending like $4500 at the most in extras.

If you are going with the On3 kit it's fine, but "DO NOT" use the standard turbo. Get the upgraded Master Power or Precision turbo. I have that kit and have a new turbo coming tomorrow.
