it depends on the kit. what needs to be done depends on how much boost you want to run. but if you want to go forced induction i would study really good. there is some good info in the sticky section about different types of super chargers and turbos. there are also links for info on popular kits.

there is no cheap way to di it. the best option price wise is probably an on3 turbo kit. but you will still need fuel upgrades. there are also supercharger kits that come with everything.

I have gone both routes.. And found the on3 easier to install but the turbos they offer suck make sure to upgrade to precision. You will need to buy extras other than the kit.. 255 pump, slot style maf or blow thru, a set of injectors I went with the Siemens 60lb injectors.

It doesn't cost that much I bought a few goodies with mine.. Pro crap heads 1.6 rollers polished TB and pro comp valve covers.. So take 1700 off that
