intake question

Any one here with 9495 with a professional products typhoon intake on there 5.0?? Wondering bout clearances issues, with stock hood

1995 5.0 u/d,cai,t/b,shorty headers,x pipe,flows 40's,373 gears, alum. driveshaft, alum. radiator, shift kit, e-cam, ported upper and lower intake, 100 shot of spray, 2100 stall, black 0304 cobras. suspension: upper and lower control arms, sub frame connecters, and springs all SVE

I don't believe there are any hood clearance issues, but there may be strut tower brace issues.

I do check you need a different strut tower brace and I think a different hood because with my new motor mounts, the intake , and 1 inch spacer to clear my valve covers, my motor sits up 4 inches higher then stock. I have a 3.5 inch cowl svo good and there is only 1/4 inch clearance under it

Well i was Jus thinking bout 3/8 spacer, stock hood, it'll Jus be a typhoon upper and lower intake.

Yeah ill have to take my strut tower brace off, but that's k

im no sure on the 95s but should be the same. but you can also use convertible moter mounts. they may be good for almost an inch.

Yea I had to go with a 1 inch spacer because of my tall valve covers

Anyone know if someone has a throttle body elbow that I'll need Jus sitting around??

Professional products has a elbow for $64 or edelbrock and trick flow have them for $110
