New to the 5.0

I've got a 5.0 1990 lx im wanting to do a Kenni Bell BlowZilla build and I've tea mixed reviewes on the trick flow intakes and the typhoon intakes. What intake would b best for my build? I'm most likely doing a SVO block if that helps any

Both intakes are pretty good but if you got that supercharger you wouldn't be using the intakes.

Yea I know that, hints why im asking about what's the best intake to use with it. I know the blower takes the place of the upper intake lol

The Kenne Bell requires either the stock 5.0 lower or the GT40/Cobra lower intake.
Your best bet is to get the GT40/Cobra lower and have it ported by TMoss Porting.
I would get the Blowzilla blower and the Flowzilla air intake for it.

Yea it already has a gt40 intake off a cobra on it Thanks so they r good for massive power? Well like the 6-800HP range

With the intake ported out, a good set of heads and the KB with the boost turned up yes, but your stock 5.0 block won't hold that much power for very long.


You'll need to go with a Boss 302 or Boss 351W block and all forged internals to handle that much power.

8 to 8.5:1 is probably best if you are going for high boost.
