Help

I am having a problem installing the trunk lock assembly in my 1987 convertible. The problem I am having is that I removed the whole assembly from my old steel trunk and I want to install it in my new fiberglass trunk. It seems that the holes don't line up. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

You may need to file fit the lock.
Pictures would give us a better idea of what your issue is if you can provide them.
