Fuel range..

Hey guys I was just wondering what were some of talks miles per gallon..

With my mods and a lead foot I am at 138miles with almost a quarter of a tank left. That seems good to me considering how much I have hammered down.. Anyone else?

I can squeeze 24-26 MPG out of mine if I keep my right foot under control.

Remember the Fox Body is a very "weight conscious" car. (As I suppose most probably are when you get down to it.)
Anyways, the lighter you can make it the better MPG and performance you'll get.

Hmmm, Now that I read that I feel like I'm giving advice that everyone who owns a Fox Body already knows.
But I'll leave it. Maybe some future reader will benefit.

My car doesn't do very good. But then again I am carbed with no ecu, smog or any other of that other crap. Oh and for some reason I can't seem to keep my foot out of it. But that's probably because I don't drive it very often.

I get 21-22 mpg if I do a lot of stop and go driving, any country roads or highways I average 25-27 depending on speed and what gear I'm in.

You guys might need some fine tuning.
A wideband O2 meter or gauge would help immensely in doing that if/when you could afford one.

a wideband is definitly on my wish list. i really think it would make tuning alot easier. at least better than smell! like i said though my main problem lays in the weight of my foot. i have yet to ever actually fill the tank up and drive untill its empty to even clculate fuel milage. the last long cruise i went on i dont think i did to bad. most definitly with conservative driving i think i could do way better than 12 lol that is hopefully.
