Mods

My friend is selling some edlebrock heads, a "real" cobra intake, comp cams 1.7 rr, and a stage 1 trickflow cam. Just curious if this combo will work well together and if there would be any issue with ptv clearance with that cam along with the rr's? Thanks for any help. Oh and how much power yall think i will benefit from all this?

I have bought the h.c.i. i mentioned in the beginning. The heads are the edlebrock performer part #60329. Upon reading on these parts I seen that edlebrock recommends a flat tappet cam, but I have the tfs 1 cam. Will this cam work even though its hydrolic roller?

Yes what year is your car?

Yes the tfs stage 1 cam will work, you have the same heads and cam as me the only difference with your heads is that they use stud mounted rocker arms not pedestal mounted ones.

87. Sure makes me feel alot better. Lol I thought i was going to have to go another route. I read where it said the 60329 and 60379 were the same except for the mounting of the rockers but when i read it said flat tappet cam it threw me off. Thanks alot for clearing it up for me.

Those heads require edelbrock #9632

Which are the 6.805" long pushrods!

Efi. I seen it said hardened push rods but i assumed they were to be same length as original. Them being longer shouldn't make a difference on anything else right?

---------- Post added at 12:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:11 AM ----------

Im lost again. I looked again at the edlebrock website and it showed that pushrod to be used with flat tappet only but the tfs cam is a roller! Confused!
