What is a good cool air intake for my 1995 mustang 5.0

Im looking for a cool air intake for my 95 5.0 but i dont know but idk wat will give it a good horsepower boost any hints.

Im pretty sure all are rated around 3-5 hp and the one you run is just going to be personal preference. I like the bbk fenderwell kit. Its the one i run. You get cooler air from it verses a ram air which is mounted right under hood sucking warm engine heat. Just my 2 cent.

Yea i was thinking about getting the fenderwell but i just wanted to see if i could get some tips.I was also thinking of putting a cam shaft on it but idk if i should put an A cam or a B cam but i heard a B cam dosnt pass smog check is dat true???

I never heard of an a cam....

But if I'm not mistaken most of the Ford racing cams are smog legal. If you go to where they sell them. Under the description it should say if they are smog legal or not.

Oh alright...yea because someone had told me that the B cam wont pass a smog check.Thanks for the tip im going to look at that

most cai's will be pretty similar in hp gains. what you are gonna pay for is quality, fitment, and finish.

as for the letter cams a B or a E cam will do the trick on a neer stock motor. once you start getting a built motor you will need to contact a cam specialist to get a cam that matches what you have.

My motor is stock right know all i want to do right know is just put littel things on my motor just to get started u knoe.

Cai is a good starter. If you plan on doing heads and intake. I would wait til then to do a cam. Check out the "in the beginning" sticky thread for some good starter mods.
